Sending a tip

If you are reporting an incident, tell us what you know, how you know it, and how we can verify it. Do not send us stolen data, credentials or personal information about victims — we will not use it, and we will delete it.

If you are a victim

We are a newsroom, not an emergency service. Report first to the authorities:

• Lost money to online fraud (India): call 1930 or file at cybercrime.gov.in as fast as possible.
• Suspicious call, SMS or WhatsApp (India): report on Sanchar Saathi – Chakshu.
• Organisations in India: report cyber incidents to CERT-In (incident@cert-in.org.in) within six hours of noticing them.
• Elsewhere: CISA (US), NCSC (UK), or your national CERT.
